School Site Council
The School Site Council is a governing body that is responsible for deciding how to best use categorical money to support the instructional program. The School Site Council members meet regularly, working together to set goals for improving student achievement at school, and allocating the funds to accomplish those goals. Members of the Council include the principal, teachers, other staff members, as well as parents. Staff members are elected by their peers, while parents are elected by other parents. Each member serves for two years.
